Antero B Rodrigues

In Taunton, Antero Bento Rodrigues, age 98, passed away peacefully at Morton Hospital on May 6, 2024 while surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Maria Odilia (Pimentel) Rodrigues. Before her passing last year, they had celebrated 71 years of marriage. He was born in and raised as the youngest of 12 children in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal to the late Manuel Rodrigues and Maria Macedo. Antero and Maria had resided in Taunton since 1970. Antero was prededed in death by his son, Dinarto Bento and will be remembered and greatly missed by his family. Manny Rodrigues of Cataumet, Sergio and Shanna Bento of Taunton, and daughter in law Kimberly Quintal of Plymouth. Antero also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren; Christina and Will Estresmera, McKayla Bento, Sergio Bento and McKenna Bento. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. Services are private at the request of the family. Burial at St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
