Albert T. Riendeau Obituary

Of Taunton, March 22, 2025 Albert T. Riendeau loving husband of Mary Lou (Avylla) Riendeau of sixty one year’s died at Hannah B.G. Shaw Home in Middleboro surrounded by his family at the age of 81. Born in Taunton Al was the son of the late Arthur and Ione (Whipple) Riendeau. He was a graduate of Taunton Vocational High School class of 1961, after high school Al enlisted into the U.S. Navy serving from 1962-1966. He was a retired Supervisor and former truck driver for Hallsmith Sysco in Norton for twenty three years. He then went on to work with his son Paul at New England Refrigeration in Wareham for over twenty two years. He was a life member of the Italian Naturalization Club in Taunton, life member of the Air force Club in Taunton, life member o f the John Alden Club in Manomet, Mass Beach Buggy Assoc, Taunton Rifle & Pistol Club and the Tin Can Sailors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing playing golf and camping especially in Florida. Al was the father of Paul Riendeau and his wife Susan of Dighton. Grandfather of Aidan Riendeau of Dighton. Brother of Carol Helides of Raynham, Lois Medeiros and her husband Angelo of Taunton, Sue Rego and her husband Jack of FL and Marilyn Trucchi of Taunton. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service was held at the National Cemetery in Bourne. The Riendeau family would like to thank all the staff at the Hannah B.G.
