Alan E Costa

In Taunton, Alan E. Costa, age 77, passed away following a brief illness at Morton Hospital on March 17, 2025. Alan leaves his beloved wife, Marguerite (O’Leary) Costa of East Taunton. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Manuel Costa and Madlyn (Perry) Costa. Alan was a lifetime resident of Taunton and East Taunton. Alan was educated in Taunton schools. He was employed in the auto service industry in tire sales. Alan was a talented cross stitcher, and enjoyed dining out, going for ice cream rides, taking cruises, and above all spending time with his family. In addition to his wife Marguerite, Alan leaves his children; Debra Larocque and her husband Donald of Alton, NH, Susan Rezendes and her husband David of Nantucket, and Alan Costa of Taunton. He also leaves his loving grandchildren Cassandra Wainwright of NH, Robert Wainwright of NH, and his 6 great grandchildren. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, March 25th from 8:30-10 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 11 am. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery in East Taunton.
